The food you need to consume during this uncertain time

How are you guys doing? I hope that you guys stay positive and enjoy the weekend😊 I would like to give you some advice on the food that could boost your immunity so that you can fight back against any types of virus💪💪

Firstly, Vitamin D is the one you have to take in order to improve your immune system as some of you may know. It is said that having at least 600IU (IU= International Unit) of vitamin D daily is essential. So, let’s see what kind of food you should have;

  • Salomon and tuna

There are apparently almost 455IU in 100g of salmon and 160IU in the same portion of tuna. They both have got so much in omega 3 as well, thus having those fish definitely keeps you healthy.

  • Milk

It depends on what kind of milk you drink, however it is said that 500ml of milk contain approximately 250IU of vitamin D. It has also got calcium, thus drinking milk regularly is like “you kill two birds with one stone.”

  • Yogurt

This also depends on what sort of yogurt you have but 200g of yogurt generally contain 95-100IU of vitamin D. It also helps your intestines work better and healthier.

  • Beef liver

I understand that many of you would hate this because I am one of those who dislike this. Nevertheless, I must admit that this is really good for your health since 100g of beef liver contain approximately 45IU of vitamin D alongside with vitamin A and B12. There are some other options you can choose from, so I wouldn’t say that you should try it😂

  • Orange juice

I think this is what you can easily imagine when it comes to vitamin D. You can take approximately 140IU of vitamin D as well as vitamin C from 250ml of orange juice.

  • Eggs

Especially egg yolks have got so much vitamin D. An egg with L size has got around 41IU of vitamin D. Having said that, eggs also have some cholesterols so allow yourself 1-2 eggs a day just in case.

There are some other types of food you are able to have to keep you healthy, such as almonds, mushrooms and sardines. You can have bits and pieces day by day to get you going. “ You are what you eat.” Healthier you, brighter future🤩
